India is an emerging country aware of its vast enviromental resources. There resources were presented when we studied biodiversity. Reseachers have still a lot to do to carry on with the inventory of species
Original measures using specific technologies could be taken locally

• to limit atmospheric pollution , for example with the development of biofuels made up of local vegetation,
• to ensure water supply and treatment in the country and in cities with water treatment plants adapted to the local situation.

To conclude, India is well on its way to sustainable development.
